The Realtors Luxury Villa Rentals website redesign goals were to provide a cleaner, more polished front-end to their web presence while allowing simpler management and complete search engine optimisation (SEO) control through the back-end.
To this end, Caribbean New Media redesigned the site and delivered a Drupal 7 solution. The solution had the following features
- Complete content management control over every aspect of the site through the administration
- Simplified ease of entry of property details including multiple rates
- Slideshow control and creation
- Seamless integration with the existing booking engine
- Full control of all SEO aspects
- Spam control and tuning on all contact forms
It is hugely important when replacing an old site with a new one to correctly forward all the old url addresses to the new ones - not doing this loses valuable search engine worth. For this, Caribbean New Media ensured that there was a complete '301 redirect' map in place, this meant absolutely no drop in Google rankings during the changeover.
These changes will ensure that the site makes great gains in both useability and search engine rankings.
