Examining the hugely popular Barbados Property Search website's analytics we found that nearly 30% of the site's visitors were mobile users viewing the Barbados real estate listings. To take advantage of this Caribbean New Media developed a mobile theme, running off the existing Drupal 7 engine, to deliver a tailored browsing experience to mobile users. Amongst the many features this theme included :-
- automatic mobile device detection and automated theme/display switching
- fallback options to allow selection of full website on every page
- search engine optimisation mobile site submission and redirect fallbacks
- full login, logout, favourite list functionality
